Technical Aspects:No problems were encountered while installing or playing Treasure in the Royal Tower. The screenshots on the back of the box look exactly like the game. I'm not sure about the suitability for someone who's hearing impaired. Nearly all the conversations have text, but some clues are given to the player orally.
Report and Conclusions:Treasure in the Royal Tower is the fourth Nancy Drew game from Her Interactive with another due out soon. The company keeps getting better with updated graphics and more involving stories. The story is excellent and very interesting and the characters have well-developed backgrounds for you to discover. Both my granddaughter and I had fun exploring the castle and meeting its inhabitants. If you get stuck while playing, you can use the phone in your room to call Ned or Bess and George for hints. Playing in easy mode will get you more hints and easier puzzles, but the game is just as satisfying. We've played the previous three Nancy Drew games and enjoyed this one just as much. I appreciate all the history that goes into these games and this one was no exception. My granddaughter decided she liked this one best because of the cute ski instructor. ;-) | |||||||||||||||||||||||
