Description: Ready to Read with Pooh offers nine activities
as part of a comprehensive reading program for preschoolers through first grade.
Kids already love the familiar characters and there are lots of fun things to do
in the 100 Acre Wood. As the sections are completed, kids receive a special reward
to take back to their very own treehouse.
Features:
- Eeyore's Tattered Books - match words to the correct pictures.
- Let's Pretend - creating sentences with animated pictures.
- Rabbit's Signs - connect the dots to complete the word.
- Owl's Poetry - choose the picture that rhymes.
- Piglet's Cabinets - matching upper and lower case letters.
- Pooh's Honey Pots - alphabet order/recognition
- Tiggers Don't Climb Trees - build a quilt out of words so Tigger can jump down.
- Detective Tigger - solve the mysteries with Tigger.
- Tigger's Bouncin' Boxes - match sounds to their letters.
Reactions:
For children too young to handle the activities, there are hundreds of clickables,
songs, stories and more. At the moment, we're using it for our 3 and 4 year old
to work on together - she does the work, explaining it as she goes, and he watches,
pointing out hot spots and starting the occasional ruckus. They can even print
- certificates, a reward - or their treehouse, which shows the progress they've made.
My kids love Pooh, and this is a welcome addition to our CD-ROM early learning stack.
