Description:

Loveable, familiar Reader Rabbit is back! But the variety show scheduled for tonight is off unless you can help recreate the set, scripts, props and costumes before it's too late. There are four areas of Reader Rabbit's First Grade to explore, which covers a full hear of language arts, math, science and creative arts. Visit these areas and complete the activities while you help them get ready for the party.

Technical Aspects:

We had no problems with this program. The graphics are bright and cartoon-like, and seem bigger than some of the past titles in this series. The box offers screenshots of all the activities and they'll show you exactly what this CD has to offer. Navigation is very straightforward throughout, and there weren't any scary scenes or spooks around.

Report and Conclusions:

My 5 year old daughter relieved me of this program as soon as it got here! "I can review this one for ya, Mom." she said. At first, she seemed to be in over her head, but persistence paid off and she had everything in hand pretty quickly. Once again, with TWO computers in the house, I've been booted off them both by my enthusiastic offspring and am left to wander around aimlessly. We truly have had to limit computer time with this program because my daughter is convinced she should be able to solve it all in one sitting!
