Spy Fox in Cheese ChaseReviewed by Stephanie HeesePublished by Humongous Entertainment
Description:
When you're having a hard time on any particular level, a "Junior Helper" pops up that gives you the option to go more slowly or crash less. There's a built-in "Kid Editor" so you can make your own custom levels. That means you can choose where to place the obstacles, bonus cheese, tanks of fuel and spy gadgets, then you can test-drive your custom-made level. Features:
Technical Aspects:No installation is required with Windows AutoPlay - just insert the CD, press "play", and go! Except for an occasional hiccup, the game ran well on our machine. Report and Conclusions:This is a great game! My 7-year-old son LOVES it. He especially likes to create and play his own custom levels. The Junior Helper feature makes the game easier to play if desired, but of course kids don't have to use it if they want to keep challenging themselves! My son looks forward to reading the title of each new level, which have humorous names like "Put on a Happy Chase" and "Mind Your Cheese & Cues". Even though this is technically a spy game, it is still kept quite wholesome - kids shoot bananas and pies at the bad guys. We wouldn't expect anything less from any game coming from Humongous. We recommend Spy Fox in Cheese Chase as a wonderful and inexpensive diversion for kids aged 5-10. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
