Description:

Growing Adventures is an interactive storybook about a boy named T.J., his dog Boomer and some friends that help find a missing boy named Eric. The story starts with T.J in bed; he wakes up and you go through his day with him. Kids will have breakfast, go to school and much, much more. During the book your child will learn helpful safety tips while having fun.

The famous John Walsh endorsed this product; the man that hosts America's Most Wanted. It is tastefully done to teach, not frighten your children. He pops up as an animated cartoon character to help T.J. and you throughout the story.

Technical Aspects:

Program loads with great ease and runs very smoothly, I didn't encounter any problems.

Results and Conclusions:

When I purchased this piece of software I was looking for something to teach my students about safety and I was very pleased with my purchase. I loved all the options that were available to me for viewing the book. I especially liked the sign language option, which was in real-time video with actual people signing. Even though none of my students are hearing impaired this year, last year I did have a student with both parents that were. She really would have enjoyed reading the story to her friends in a way the others couldn't. Although I have never learned sign, I think I will try to learn now.
