Walt Disney The Manis an excellent program for any one who is fascinated by Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse or any of the Disney characters. This marks the man's life from when he first went to Hollywood and why, to the very last day of his life. There are many different areas to look in and study throughout the program. When we enter the main hall we are greeted by Disney's daughter and two of his grandsons. They give us the tour and then send us on our way through a grand masterpiece of the life of one of the greatest cartoonists that ever lived. In the gallery, we find a museum of never-before-seen cartoons and virtual Disney art and artifacts. In the family adventure hall, we learn about Disney's personal life, his children, grandchildren, and the things that made him smile.

The theater hosts some of his most popular cartoons and sketches, and the Disney magic hall has a multitude of early films, television pieces, and also a 3D virtual ride of Epcot. In the library we find a huge selection of personal photos, clips, slide shows, documents and wonderful essays about Disney and his life. In the studio we meet some of the artists who helped bring the Disney magic to life, and there are also games, challenging quizzes and test your memory pieces.

    Report and Conclusions:

    I found the program a little boring. However, my neighbor was absolutely fascinated by the facts, art, and multimedia involved. My oldest child was interested to see how the cartoons were brought to life. There must be a love of art, cartoons, Disney or the life of a great man to want to sit and poke along through the halls of Disney. The graphics are great and they really enhance the serials, cells and sketches that are produced in this program.

    The life and times of Walt Disney is the story of a great man and his great works of art and his love of cartoons. It is a must-have for art-loving people, Mickey Mouse lovers and Walt Disney World aficionados. This can be a good reference to have for children in high school for a report, also.
