Get ready for the outdoor downpour and be prepared for a nature bath by making a poncho in advance.
Kids can create excellent rainwear from a cheap, lawn-sized garbage bag! Just grab a tough green garbage bag and cut out holes at the two bottom corners for some arms, and a hole at the bottom center for the head. Then cut a slit up the front to transform this simple plastic bag into crafty raingear. Use sticky Velcro for easy entry; tape the corners of another smaller bag to the back of your ponch for an added hood. Decorate your duster with glitter glue or stickers and weather the rain in style!
