Nature explorers always enter the wildeness in search of wildlife and are sometimes disappointed in the lack of scurrying creatures. When there is a lull in the woods, look around for craft supplies and create your own wildlife!
No craft supplies in the woods? Look again. With a little wood glue, twigs, pine cones, moss, and seeds can become a whole selection of artistic animals. Just add a drop or two of glue to a pine cone, and make a tiny deer by adding some twigs for legs. Use seeds to make eyes and a smile, and attach tiny antlers. This happy little woodland creature can greet the next hiker on the trail with a warm smile!
